Zinnia I. Skinner, 84, of Victory, passed away peacefully, August 26, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Zenon LaFrance, and Josephine Landry LaFrance. She loved crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, spending time with her family, and was an avid reader.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Skinner Sr., sons, Howard Skinner, and Craig Skinner as well as several brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Carrie) Skinner of Sterling, Patricia Bench of Victory, Scott (Pam) Skinner of Baldwinsville, Brian (Wayne) Skinner of Victory, Bruce (Karin) Skinner of Victory, Eric Skinner of Victory, daughter in law, Susan Skinner, brother-in law Kenneth Arnold of Victory and two sisters-in law Phyllis Witherell of Gouverneur and Velma Arnold of Rome, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.


Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 30, 11:00-1:00 with a funeral at 1:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, burial to follow at Victory Union Cemetery. For those wishing to make contributions in Zinnia's name they may do so to CIMVAC, 2496 W Main St., Cato, NY 13033.
