William (Bill) J. Hunt, Sr., 68, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 14, 2022, shortly after a cancer diagnosis.  He was born in Lyons, November 30, 1953, son of the late Robert Hunt, and Dorothy Chapel Hunt. He loved fishing, hunting, and time with family who will always remember his great sense of humor.  He was a funny man with lots of jokes to tell and tunes to sing.
He is predeceased by his wife, Sandra Hunt the love of his life.
Survived by four daughters, Billie Jo (Brian) Perrotta, Bobbi Jo (Ed Rotach) Hunt, Bonny Jo (Matthew) Aumick, and Betty Jo (Matthew) Smith, One son, William (Jess Pople) Hunt Jr., thirteen grandchildren, as well as two great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery, Saturday, August 27, at 1:00, a celebration of Williams life will take place at his home following the graveside. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make contributions in Williams name they may do so to Rochester Regional Health HomeCare and Hospice.
