William "Bill" A. Rickard, 84, of Cato, passed away Thursday September 05, 2019 at the Commons at St. Anthony. Born in Elbridge, the son of the late Hugh Rickard and Mary Luce Rickard. Prior to retirement he was a farmer having worked for Titus and Titus as well as Cedar Creek in Cato. He enjoyed spending his time cutting fire wood for the winter , gardening in his flower gardens as well as cooking with his Great Grand Daughter Avani.
He is predeceased by a son Edward Rickard (1982), two sisters, Ann Stachurski, and, Mary Ella Middleton.
Survived by his wife, Jean McKay Rickard , son, Fred (Cheryl) Rickard of Cato, Grand Daughter, Shannel (Matthew) Cole of Cato, and Great Grand Daughter, Avani Cole.
A celebration of Bills life will take place Sunday, September 08, at the Rickard Families home at 2654 East Main Street, Cato, from 1:00-4:00. For those wishing to make contributions they may do so to the Rickard family to help contribute to Bills final expenses. Arrangements are entrusted with the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato.
