Webster Reid, 74, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at St. Camillus Nursing Home. Webster was born in Auburn, son of the late S. Webster Reid II, and Loretto Maroney Reid. He served his country in Vietnam. Prior to retirement , he was employed in economic development for Operation Oswego County.  Prior to this, he served as director of economic development for Onondaga county.   He enjoyed visiting family and friends and was known for his detailed, albeit wandering stories.

He is predeceased by a sister Betty Dowd, as well as two brother-in-laws, Fred Dowd, and Ron Blondell.

Webster is survived by his wife , Holly R. Reid , 5 sisters, Joyce (Tom) Beman of Victory, W. Kathleen Reid of Manhattan, Margaret Blondell of Sandy Creek, Linda (Richard) Pullen of Lyons, and, Melanie (James) Boyd of Virginia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
