Wanda S. Yanock, 69, of Cato, went home to be with her Lord, March 24, at Mathews House, Auburn, surrounded
by her family. She was born in Missouri, daughter of the late Charles Ramsey, and Emma Phillips
Ramsey. Wanda loved the outdoors, gardening, crafting, travelling with her husband, especially their
annual trip to Williamsburg VA.
Wanda especially loved the mountains, and the family made several trips over the years to the Old Forge
area of the Adirondacks.
Wanda delighted in what she would call "supervising" her four grandchildren. She was always looking
for something to purchase that she knew that they needed or wanted. Wanda would always make sure
that each grandchild had their favorite snack when she went to visit them.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Yanock, daughter, Heather (Jason) McIntyre of Cato, stepchildren,
Daniel Ramsey, and Shawn Ramsey, brothers, Robert (Karen) Ramsey of Weedsport, and Cecil Ramsey of
Auburn, sisters, Erma Hubbard of Cato, and Carol Treague of Minnesota, grandchildren, Emma, Isaiah,
Joshua, and Phillip, all McIntyre's.
A calling hour will take place 10:00, April 1, at 10:00 AM at the Armour of Light Baptist Church, 11937
