Vicky J. Anthonson, 46, of Cato, passed unexpectedly, August 21, 2023, at Upstate University Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of James Fredette, and Linda Chase Fredette. She loved yard sales, bargain hunting, campfires, and finding new waterfalls, but most of all her children. She worked at the Cato Pizzeria for 12 years.

She is survived by her husband, Severin "Josh" Anthonson,  children, Brandon Hodson of Tennessee, Tyler Hodson of Japan, Kaitlyn Hodson of Cato, Nicholas Anthonson of Cato, Kinsley Anthonson of Cato, stepson, Kevin Anthonson of Hannibal, brother, James (Amanda) Fredette of  Memphis, parents, James and Linda Fredette of Memphis, granddaughter, Lauren Anthonson, sister in-law, Val Barney of Colorado, mother in-law, Mary Waterhouse of Colorado, ex-husband Tim Hodson of Baldwinsville, dogs, Jager , Amara, and Libby, her favorite cat Handsome Boy, 50 chickens, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, August 24, 11:00-1:00 with a funeral service at 1:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, a private burial will follow at Conquest Cemetery.
