Thomas B. Wright, 89, of Red Creek, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 07, 2021, at Demay Living Center. He was born in Red Creek, son of the late Nelson Wright, and Phyllis Harrison Wright. After High School Thomas joined the Army and was honorably discharged. Tom was an industrious, generous, and gratuitous individual. He donated countless hours caring for his mother, and after her passing selflessly assisted other family members with issues that were affecting their lives. Unapologetically ambitious and independent, Tom worked lifelong as a carpenter, managed his farm, maintained a vegetable garden and a flower garden. When it came time to relax and leisurely enjoy what other time was available, he would be out back with a chainsaw in his hands harvesting an ample amount of timber for the next two heating seasons. When deer season arrived, big bucks would trumpet retreat for fear of retaliation over the theft of Toms stolen vegetables. He had a comforting smile which brought calm to all close friends and neighbors.

Thomas is predeceased by his siblings, Richard Wright, Vivian Guangualano, and Marilyn Simmons, niece, Linda Simmons.

He is survived by his sister, Dawn Gruendike, sister in law Rosemarie Wright, nieces and nephews, Kim (Sheree) Wright, Nicole (Jake) Bennet, Luann (Al) Mages, Bambi (Robert) Seibold, Ryan (Donna) Gruendike, Pamela (Robert) Garofano, Sandra (Keith) Davis, Tina (Steven) Nasholts, Bonnie Simmons,  many great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
