Shirley M. Barnes, 91, of North Rose, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at Wayne County Nursing Home. She was born in North Rose, daughter of the late John Jensen, and Edra Davis Jensen. loved gardening and puzzles. She also loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, James Barnes, and son in laws,  Joe Donnelly, and Edward Krenzer, grandson, Wesley Donnelly, and sister, June Tallman.

Survived by her daughters, Claudia (Arthur) Putnam, Susan Krenzer, and Jane Donnelly, brother, Marvin (Karen) Jensen, sister, Audrey Walker, grandchildren, Andrea Mills, Brandon (Stacey Burkhard) Donnelly, Aaron (Kate) Krenzer, and Ashley (Mark) DiPaola, eight great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place Tuesday, 1:00 PM at Rose Cemetery. For those wishing to make contributions in Shirley's name they may do so to the North Rose Fire Department, PO Box 208, North Rose, NY 14516, or a charity of one's choice. Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, North Rose, is in care of the arrangements.
