Scott J. Barnes, 13, of North Rose, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born in Geneva, May 05, 2009. He loved playing sports, fishing, the Buffalo Bills, and painting his war hammer figures.

Scott is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Dave Schwittek.

Survived by his parents, Heidi Schwittek Barnes, and Jason Barnes, sister, Daisy Barnes, brother, Joseph Barnes, paternal grandparents, Richard "Papa" and Rosa "Nana" Barnes, maternal grandmother, Mary Ann "Gigi" Schwittek, aunts and uncles, Stephanie (Brian) Gatesman, and David (Abby) Schwittek, cousins, Merrin and Sarah, and, Sloane and Sawyer, as well as many friends.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, August 17, 3:00-6:00, at the Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, North Rose, a celebration of Scotts life will be held across from Scott's home at 5340 Brick School House Road, from 12-3 Saturday, August 20 at the home of Lynn and Isaac Ball.
