Russell "Rusty" Hoeffner, 63, of Red Creek, passed away Sunday, February 06, at Oswego Hospital. He was born in Waterloo, son of the late George Hoeffner, and Elma Mortinson Hoeffner. Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking shows, and, eating and cooking with his family.

Survived by his son, Joshua (Cassandra) Hoeffner of Red Creek, brother Karl "Skeeter" (Doreen) Hoeffner of Red Creek, sisters, Sharon (Grover) Crocker of Clyde, and Mary Swinehart of Washington. Half sister Debbie Cook of Hannibal, nieces and nephews Grover Jr,  Jeff, Penny, Karen, Karl, Christopher, Cheryl, Jimmy, Anita and many great nieces and great nephews, as well as many friends.

He is predeceased by his brother, Phillip "Jimmy" Hoeffner, and sister, Linda Pusey and nephews Paul and Robert.

The family would like to thank the staff at Seneca Hill Manor in Oswego for their exceptional care during Rusty's stay. A celebration of life will take place at the Red Creek Fire Department on February 19th at 2pm.
