Ronald E. Blondell, 80, of Sandy Creek, NY, died Saturday, March 18, at his home. There were no calling hours. A funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday, March 30th at St. Thomas Church, Red Creek, NY. Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery, Fairville, NY, at the convenience of the family.
Ronald was born on the 8th day of April, 1936, the son of the late Floyd and Ruth (Tack) Blondell in Newark, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Larry.
Ronald was employed by P.E.A.C.E.,Inc. in Syracuse, NY and retired in January of 1998 as their transportation supervisor.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret (Reid) Blondell, daughters Arlene Frey of Lyons and Renita (Greg) Jock of Ontario, sons Timothy of Hornell, Terry (Kay) of Pensacola, FL, Reid of Rochester, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
