Robert L. Smith, 72, of Red Creek, passed away Sunday, February 04, 2024. He was born December 7, 1951, son of the late George Smith, and Barbara Behm Smith. Robert was a Cato Meridian graduate class of 1971. He was a farmer at his family's farm in the Town of Conquest. He loved farming, fishing, dancing, but most of all his family and grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife, Carol Banner Smith (1998).

Survived by his children, Carrie (Stan Gilmore) Smith of Red Creek,  son, Craig Smith of Minoa,  brothers, Bill (Diane) Matteson of Fl., Ronnie (Lee) Smith of North Carolina, Austin (Chris) Smith of Red Creek, sisters, Wanda (Jeff) Snow of Red Creek, Azenda (Ed) Bond of Throop, and Connie (Ed) Peddleton of Wolcott, grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Austin Stock, Dylan Stock, Zachary Smith, Addison Smith, Mackenzie Smith, great grandchild, Colt Smith, as well as several nieces , nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be Saturday, 11:00-2:00, a service to follow at 2:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, burial will follow the service at Spring Lake Cemetery, Conquest.
