Robert C. Roth, 77, of Meridian passed away at his home Saturday, November 3 surrounded by his family. Robert was born in Syracuse on February 12, 1941. He was the son of the late Robert H. Roth and Mary Ida (Miller) Roth. Robert was an avid outdoorsmen. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in Kirk's Cove, Canada which he has done since the 80s. Robert loved listening to the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, but most of all spending time with his family and friends. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 41 years by the NYS Thruway Authority. After his retirement he spent 14 more years working for Dudley Farms delivering water. Bob was known for his great sense of humor and always being there for friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary (Scott) Roth, two daughters Vicki Roth and Christine Roth of Meridian, three sisters, Charleen (George) Gratton, Carol (Bill) Reid, and Judy Benoit, three grandchildren, Sean Robert Broadwell, Brianna C. Broadwell, and Logan T. Richardson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Calling hours will take place from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 7 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Cato. A service will take place immediately following. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of life honoring Bob at the American Legion in Cato immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Food Pantry at the VFW Post 153, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
