Robert C. Foltz, 35, a resident of West Main Street in Cato, NY, passed away Friday, at his home.
Rob was born in Syracuse, and was a life resident of Cato. He had been a Sergeant in the US Army with the 101st Airborne Infantry (Special Forces), serving from 2002-2005.
He had been employed as a truck driver with several area companies.
He is survived by his wife, Leanna Foltz; a step-son, Dominic Caughill; a step-daughter, Olivia Caughill; his father, Charles Foltz, Sr.; a brother, Charles (Heather) Foltz, Jr.; a sister, Nichole (Frank Heffernan) Foltz; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Foltz; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Penny Foltz.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 2:00 Saturday, June 3rd, at the Cato American Legion, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association, or to the Hospice of Central New York.
