Robert E. Anthony, 93, of North Rose, delivered his last load Sunday, February 22, 2026, with family at his side. He was born Oct. 17,1932 in Rose, son of the late Edward W. Anthony, and the late Lois Edwards Anthony. Bob served in the Air Force in the Korean War. He worked as a truck driver his entire life. He was an entrepreneur, a fabricator, inventor, a member of Wolcott Elks and life member of the North Rose Fire Department. He enjoyed wintering in Florida.
He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Nichols Anthony, brothers, Alan, Lee, Gilbert, infant brother Howard Anthony, sisters, Margaret Fontaine, and Marlene Ellis.
Survived by his children, Becky (Robert) Guthrie of Clyde, Michael (Joell) Anthony of North Rose, Steven (Cindy) Anthony of Saint Cloud,FL, Tammy (Robert) Kessler of Enoree, SC, Edward (Brenda) Anthony of Clyde, sister, Linda (Charles) Tompkins of North Rose, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on May 16 at the Wolcott Legion at 1:00. For those wishing to make contributions in Robert's name they may do so to the North Rose Fire Department, (PO Box 208, North Rose, NY 14516). Arrangements are in care of the Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral
