Rinaldo "Ben" Vaccaro, 93, of Martville, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017, with his family by his side. Ben was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Saverio Vaccaro and Maria Aversa Vaccaro. He graduated from Syracuse University,prior to his retirement he was employed as an Engineer and General Electric in Syracuse NY. He was a member of Junior Achievement, Onondaga Kennel Club, Cato Lions Club, and the G.E. Mickey Mouse Club. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the Army.

He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Joan Schneid Vaccaro, five brothers, and two sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Rosemary (Duane) Richmond, Cheri (Stephen) Prent-Janas, and, Penny (Ken) Potter, one son, James (Rebecca) Brown, grandchildren; Jessica, Adam, Jonathan, Kali, David, Brittany, Matthew, Jonathen, Amy, Maria, and, Troy, great Granddaughter, Theah, his sisters, Anna Vaccaro, and Anella Vaccaro, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday, 12:00-2:00 with a service to follow at 2:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, burial will take place immediately after the service at Cato Union Cemetery. www.catoredcreek.com
