Richard A. Green, 92, of Cato, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Cato, one of twelve children, son of the late Clyde Green and the late Alice Dolson Green. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. Richard enjoyed working in his barn rebuilding John Deere Tractors, travelling, camping, he also loved to open his barn up as a host for family picnics. Prior to retirement he worked at General Electric in Liverpool.

 He is predeceased by his wife, Thelma Jean Lavier Green, daughter, Kim Ernest, as well as nine brothers and sisters. Survived by his children, Michael (Jane Lalone) Green of Sylvan Beach, Jerry (Brenda) Green of Cato, Dawn (Gene) Ellis of Baldwinsville, sisters, Janice (Norm) Darling of Palmyra, and, Lois Kyle of Oswego, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
