Priscilla "Mike" Willis Baker
Mike Baker, 92, of Upton Road, Red Creek NY, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday evening, December 27th, 2017, from complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
Mike was born in Weedsport NY on March 20, 1925, the daughter of the late Harold J. and Mildred E. Baird Willis.
She was the widow of Milton L. Baker. Milt and Mike were married on July 14, 1946 and spent the next 58 years in a partnership that included working together in their family business, Baker's Auto Parts, for over 40 of those years.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her dear sisters Ada Lee Castano and Patricia Scattaglia.
Mike is survived by her daughters, Joyce Woodson, Janet Baker and Barbara (Marc Gordon) Baker and son Robert Baker; six grandchildren, David (Robin) Woodson, Alynn Woodson, Tyler (Lauren) Gordon, Caleb Gordon, Lysa Baker and Emily Baker and four great grandchildren; Madelyn Woodson, Jackson, Lilah and Cara Gordon, many nieces and nephews.
She was a long time Girl Scout Leader and league bowler; and an award-winning cook and baker. Mike loved winters in Florida and sunsets on Lake Ontario.
At her request, services will be private with spring inurnment in Southside Cemetery in Red Creek NY. Those wishing to may make memorial contributions to the Victory Volunteer Fire Dept, 12009 State Route 38, Cato, NY 13033.
