Paul Doty, 77, of Cato, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was born in Auburn, son of the late Milton Doty and the late Kathleen Kelly Doty. He loved motorcycling with his wife and family, camping with his family and fishing. He retired from Cayuga County Highway Department as a truck driver.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Doty, brother, Carl Doty, brother-in-law, Gerold Hunter.

Survived by his wife, Kay Jones Doty, daughters, Wendy Alnutt of Ithaca, Angela Doty of Hannibal, son, Brian (Heidi) Doty of Auburn, brothers, Robert Doty of Fulton, Roger (Cindy) Doty of North Carolina, sisters, Kathy Hunter, Sharon (Donald) Nihoff of Hannibal, Debra (Keith) Chesbro of Pennellville, grandchildren, Megan Alnutt, Michael (Amber Downs) Moore, great grandchildren, Landen, Chloe, Wyatt, as well as several nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 15, 5:00-7:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, a funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 16, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home followed by burial at Emerson Cemetery.
