Patricia A. Austin, 77, of Fair Haven, passed away February 15, 2017 , with her family by her side. Patricia was born in Vermont, March 04, 1940, the daughter of the late George C. Austin, and, Beatrice H. DeLorme Austin. She was devoted to her family and was an all around animal lover, she enjoyed working with flowers and gardening at her home in Fair Haven and in Florida. She was the owner and operator of Patricia Anns in Fair Haven prior to retiring.
She is predeceased by an infant son, Rodney Arthur Capron, a sister, Shirley Morgan, and her partner of 35 years, Richard Kleindinst.
Patricia is survived by two daughters, Bobbi (Gregg) Story of Windsor, and, Jo Ann (Jeffrey) Richardson of Fair Haven, a brother, James (Mary) Austin of Jupiter, Fl., three Grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Everett of Martville, Austin Richardson of Fair Haven, and, Keegan Story of Windsor, three Great Grandchildren, Mason, Eli, and, Seamus Everett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the Hildebrandt Hospice center staff for their care during this difficult time, as well as Richard Wirth, Lance O'Brien, PC & Terry VanDyke, and, her caregiver Juanita Oot. A graveside service will take place in the spring at an undetermined date at Huron Evergreen Cemetery, as well as a gathering of friends.
