Nellie I. Youngs, 93, a resident of Cato, passed away Monday evening surrounded by her family.
Nellie was born in Greene, NY the daughter of the late Herbert and Hattie Ingraham Mead.
She enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers, quilting and crocheting.
She is survived by six sons, Stanley (Helen) Youngs of North Carolina, Terry Youngs of Cato, Charles (Paula) Youngs of Auburn, Gerald (Cheryl) Youngs of Cato, Jay (Cathy) Youngs of Meridian, Scott (Donna) Youngs of Camden,one brother in law Irving Debruce (94) of Oxford. fourteen grandchildren , fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nellie was predeceased by her husband Harold Youngs, one son Gene Albert Youngs, eight sisters and three brothers
A memorial service will take place in the spring at Conquest Cemetery at a day and time yet to be determined. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to Cato Christian Fellowship 2570 E Main St, Cato, NY 13033.
