Mya Maloof, 23, of Weedsport, passed away August 11, 2023, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of Joseph Maloof and Maria Vanetti Maloof. She loved camping, family trips, spending time with Ty and her friends, and field hockey. She had just recently graduated from Nazareth University with a master of science degree.  She loved the game of field hockey and wanted to follow the footsteps of the great coaches she had along the way by coaching a team one day.  She will always be our courageous fighter with a kind heart.

She is predeceased by maternal grandfather, Michael R. Vanetti (2019) .

She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Maria Maloof, brother, Jacob Maloof, boyfriend, Tiernan Konopasek, Maternal grandmother, Carol Vanetti,as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, August 17, 11:00-2:00, at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato.  A private burial will take place at Meridian Cemetery.
