Miriam Richichi, 89, formerly of Red Creek, passed away at Newark Hospital, Thursday, December 19, 2019. Born in Albany, the daughter of the late James Penta, and Eva Andrews. Prior to retirement, she was employed at Nestles in Fulton. She enjoyed playing slots, watching her favorite soap opera "The Young and the Restless", reading, going on cruises, playing bingo and spending time with family and friends. Miriam was a snowbird and spent winters in Florida for 26 years
Predeceased by her husband Rocco John Richichi, a son, Michael Richichi, brother, John Penta, sister, Mary Jaeger.
Survived by her daughter, LoriAnn(Charles) Munson of Newark, brother, William Penta of Wolcott, sister, Jeannie Jaeger of Dansville, Grandchildren, John Richichi, Angela Richichi,Samantha Richichi, Emily Cretin, Tyler Cretin, Great Grandchildren Jockzan Richichi, Michael Richichi,and Caitlyn O'Neil as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, December 27, 2:00-4:00 with a service at 4:00, at the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek. Burial will take place in the spring at North Wolcott Cemetery. www.catoredcreek.com
