Michelle O'Shea Nicklus, 44, of Wolcott, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025. She was born in Sodus, daughter of Michael O'Shea, and the late Robin Lynn Van Pelt O'Shea. She loved dancing, listening to music, joking around, laughing and bringing joy to others, spending time with her family, friends, and her fur babies. She was a devout Christian.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Nicklus, father, Michael P. O'Shea of Hamlin, sisters, Denise (Merle Jr.) Wright of Pickens SC, Lynn (James Jr.) Murphy of Liberty SC, brother, Michael J. O'Shea of Clinton, godparents, Timothy Bowman Sr., and Doreen Bowman of Williamson, her very close cousin, Amy Kimball, and Marilyn High, who were more like dedicated caretakers to Michelle, close friend "Momma Bear" Deb Moody, in-laws, Kimberly (Dennis) Czech, Laurie Nicklus, Eileen (Bill)  Ferguson, father in law, Joseph Nicklus Jr., mother in law, Diana Demerest Nicklus, 15 nieces and nephews, 3 great nephews.

Michelle is predeceased by her mother, Robin O'Shea, paternal grandparents, Evelyn Benjamin, Raymond Bowman, Frank O'Shea, maternal grandparents, James Van Pelt, and Shirley Van Pelt, uncles, Ricky Van Pelt, and Kenneth O'Shea, three cousins, Terry O'Shea Jr., Thomas Bowman, and Basil Ashley Jr.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 2, 10:00-12:00 with a service at 12:00 at the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek, burial to follow at Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling.
