Michael R. Vanetti , 63, of the Town of Ira, passed away   Tuesday, September 24, 2019,                  at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Camillo Vanetti (2016) and Anna Jawesh Vanetti. Prior to retirement he was employed as a machinist for various companies in CNY. He served in the Marine Corps from 1979-1983. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Kiehl Vanetti, mother, Anna Vanetti, daughter, Maria (Joseph) Maloof of Weedsport, two sons, Zaccariah Vanetti of Syracuse, and, Timothy Vanetti of Auburn, brother, Damain (Amy) Vanetti of Cazenovia, sisters, Therese Vanetti  of Syracuse, Suzanne Freeman of Homer,  Christina Goodman of Syracuse,and, Samantha Vanetti-Recore Grand Children, Mya Maloof, and, Jacob Maloof, as well as several nieces , nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will take place Thursday, September 26, from 5:00-7:00 at Keysor- Dain- Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, a funeral service will be Friday, 10:00 AM at St. Patricks Church, Cato, interment will follow at Meridian Cemetery.
