Mary S. Stanley, 86, of Red Creek, passed away July 08, 2020. She was born in Clyde, daughter of the late Charles S. Sickmond, and Marjorie Dobbin Sickmond. Prior to retirement, she was employed at St. Johns Nursing Home in Rochester as an accountant. She enjoyed dancing, country music, chocolate, and her cats and dogs. She was lucky enough to have travelled the world in her previous jobs.
She is predeceased by a brother, Charles Sickmond.
Survived by her husband, Robert Stanley, daughters, Mary Alice Corbitt of Penfield, Melanie (Andy Hughes) DeLeon of Texas, step daughter, Sally Stanley of Fabius, and, Cindy (John) Curtin of Auburn, step son, Alan (Judy) Stanley of Maryland, brother, Bob (Diane) Sickmond of Bloomfield, 4 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside will take place Friday, May 07, at 10:30 AM at the Fairmount Cemetery, Red Creek, in the event of bad weather, it will take place at the Red Creek United Methodist Church .
