Mary Bolton (née Oryschak), 84, went with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, August 11 at her home in

Fair Haven.

Born in Saskatchewan, Canada to John and Nellie Oryschak, Mary was of Ukrainian descent. As a child,

she moved to Martville, New York, where she was raised by her aunt and uncle. She was a graduate of

Red Creek High School, and in 1964, married Roland Bolton and settled down in Fair Haven, where she

was a lifelong resident.

Mary was devoted to her family and always put the welfare of others ahead of her own. She generously

gave her time over the years to church activities, and enjoyed gardening and spending winters in Florida

with her husband in later years.

She is survived by her husband Roland Bolton, daughter Linda Bolton Weiser and son-in-law Jeffrey

Weiser of New York, son Steven Bolton and daughter-in-law Carrie (Sawyer) Bolton of Fair Haven,

grandsons Benjamin Weiser, Jackson Weiser, and Garrett Bolton, granddaughter Jessica Bolton, brothers

William Oryschak and Steve Oryschak, sister Moneca Rempal, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Springbrook Cemetery on August 15. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to

the American Cancer Society or the Fair Haven Volunteer Fire Department in Mary's memory.
