Mary Baldwin died peacefully at her home on March 2 nd , 2019 at the age of 87.
Born in Victory, New York, she was the daughter of Harry and Mary (Molly) Smith.
Mary is predeceased by her husband, Merton. They were dedicated to their
dairy farming during their 65 years together. Mary also enjoyed cooking and
baking, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. She was a
dedicated member of the Ira Fire Auxiliary for fifty years.
She is survived by her sister, Rose Cole, of Cato and her three daughters Janice
Chase of Baldwinsville, Donna (Michael) Hall of Florida and Lori Baldwin of
Ontario; grandchildren Christopher (Rebecca) Chase of Cato, Daniel Chase of
Pennsylvania, Emily Chase of Baldwinsville, Ben (Maggie) Hall and Sarah (Nick)
Hyatt of Florida, Jennifer Bishop of Webster and Edward (Elizabeth) Bishop of
Rome; great grandchildren Christopher Jr., Allison and Lucy Chase, Alyssa, Sam
and Katie Colarocco, Whit Hall, Maddox and Emery Hyatt, Jordan and Braydon
Bishop; great, great grandchildren Khloe and Koby Rufus. She is also survived by
her brother-in-law, William Baldwin of Oswego and several nieces and nephews.
Mary is predeceased by her siblings; Francis and Edward Smith, Ruth Sheldon,
Margaret Wilkinson, Thelma McDowell, Mae Menzies as well as her son-in-law
Edward Chase.
Calling hours will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, from 10:00-12:00 with a service at
12:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ira Fire
