Marilyn Johanna Swarthout, 80, of Wolcott, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2022. She was born and
grew up in Rochester. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Irene Kieliszak. She was a graduate of
Nazareth Academy. She worked at various places in Rochester, and Wolcott. She enjoyed ceramics and
serving and going to senior lunches.
Marilyn is predeceased by her husband, James Swarthout, her parents, Walter and Irene, brother-in-law,
Marvin Cathy and nephew Gregory Cathy.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, Kenneth Kieliszak, sister, Kathleen (Eli Bliss) Cathy, and her niece
Michelle (Andrew) Jason and her family.
A graveside service will take place at an undetermined date at North Wolcott Cemetery. Farnsworth-
