Marie R. Caywood, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 27, 2022

Marie retired from the Red Creek Central School District. She was a proud member of the Community Players and the last surviving member of the "TWITS", a group of life-long friends who met every Thursday for many years. Marie was a prolific writer, loved music and enjoyed reading. She was blessed to have two family reunions in the last five years. She cherished her one- on- one time with each family member where she shared her wisdom and life experiences. Marie lived for her family and instilled in them the importance of love, faith and family. She was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Red Creek, NY and was the Lord's biggest cheerleader.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents, George and Ella (Wise) Roach; sisters, Norma Mixer, Althea(Sally) Craig, Margaret Long (Peg), and Madeline Strong, son- in- law Lewis Wendover and daughter in law, Mary (Grasso) Caywood.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue Ann Wendover and Bonnie Michaels, Sons, Gary, and Kenneth Michael Caywood, and daughter in law Marie (Sina) Caywood, along with 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, July 15, at 11 AM, at the Saint Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Wolcott, 15 Northup Avenue, Wolcott, NY 14590, a private graveside at Southside Cemetery.  Arrangements are in care of the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek.
