Maria Maloof, 45, of Weedsport, passed away Sunday, January 19, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Beaufort, SC, daughter of Michael Vanetti, and Carol Kiehl Vanetti. She was employed at Syracuse University as a budget manager in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. She loved biking, watching sports especially when it was her children playing, and spending time with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her father, Michael Vanetti, daughter Mya Maloof.

Survived by her husband, Joseph, son, Jacob, mother, Carol Vanetti, brothers, Zack Vanetti, and Timothy Vanetti, as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, co-workers, and friends.

She would want to acknowledge and thank everyone that checked in, reached out and supported her and her family.  It was much appreciated and great to know how many caring people there are all around us.  Thank you for being great family and friends.

A special thank you to Carol for all the support, great care and love.  You are simply the best – love you, Mom!

Calling hours will be Friday, January 24, 1:00-4:00 with a memorial service at 4:00 at the Keysor Dain Cullinan Funeral Home, 11362 South Street, Cato.
