Louis E. Garland Sr. (91) of Rose passed on 9/7/2023 at Geneva General Hospital. Louis was born in Piney Grove, Maryland on 11/24/1931. He drove tractor trailer for 50 years at Fleischmann's in North Rose. He was married to Betty (Confer) Garland for 61 years before her passing in 2011.

He is survived by his sisters Ann Frazer of North Rose and Dorothy Rice of Clyde, Louis and Betty had 6 children, Linda (Jim) Fisher deceased of Wolcott, Lawrence of Arizona, Robert (Janet) Garland deceased of Rose,  Louise Garland Jr. (Denise) of Rose, Penny Garland of Wolcott, Corinna (Charles) Taylor of Lyons, and Special niece Connie (Jeff) Rios of Lyons, they had 11 grandchildren: Noel, Kris, and Nicole Stevens (Linda), Paul and wife Shannon, Lawrence, Alexander, Robert, Nicholas (Robert), Jason and wife Jackie (Louis Jr.), Broc and wife Chrissy (Penny), Charles Jr., Devin and wife Diedra (Corinna), there were also 8 great grandchildren: Morgan, McKenna, Noah, Natelie, Breadon, Jacob, Regan, Savannah and 1 great, great great grandson Rhett.

Calling hours to be held Monday September 18th from 11am-1pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home in North Rose, with a funeral service at 1:00,  a private grave side service to follow.
