Lionel R. Pople, 64, of Martville, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025. He was born in Auburn, April 16, 1961, son of William Pople and Dianne Liddle Pople. He had worked for years as a plumber/welder at Bombardier Factory in Auburn. He enjoyed fishing, going to the races and mud bogs.

He is predeceased by his father, William Pople.

Lon is survived by his mother, Dianne Pople, children, Eric Pople, Casey Pople, and Nathan Pople all of Auburn, siblings, William (Valerie) Pople of Red Creek, Dawn (Ron) Stanton of Martville, , Brian (Michelle) Pople of Palmyra, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Fair Haven Fire Department, 14447 Fair Haven Road,  Sunday, February 2, 2:00-4:00. For those wishing to make contributions in Lon's name they may do so to the Fair Haven Fire Department. Arrangements are in care of the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek.
