Linda M. Barnum, 74, of Cato, passed away at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Batavia on July 13, 1944, daughter of the late Floyd Lee and Roseanna Rocke. Linda was the matriarch, spending and focusing much of her time on family and her grandchildren. She was known for her upbeat personality, quick wit, and colorful sense of humor.

Linda is predeceased by her husband, Robert Barnum (1992); three brothers, Lester Lee, Gerald Lee, and Ronald Lee. She is survived by seven children, Steven (Mary Bridget) Stonecypher of Central Square, Charles (Monique) Cramer of Mississippi, Rich (Gwen) Stonecypher of Cato, Melanie (Alex) Osborne of Pittsford, Stephanie (Dale) Leyburn of Victor, Brian Barnum of Cato and Amy Barnum of Phoenix; two brothers, Richard (Bob) Lee of Syracuse, Elwyn (Janet) Lee of Lowville; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 4th from 11:00-1:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Cato.  A funeral service will take place on Monday at 10:00 at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at the Onondaga Valley Cemetery in Syracuse. Contributions made be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org
