With great sadness, the family of Leslie Vincent Lash, 90, tell you of his passing, on June 8, 2023.

Leslie was born May 19, 1933. He was the youngest of 7 children, born to Lewis and Grace (Galloway) Lash. After the death of Leslie's mother, his dad remarried Virginia Chatfield, and gave Leslie 3 more siblings. Leslie was raised by foster parents, Joseph, and Minnie Millard.

Leslie served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion. He retired from Durkee after 40 years of employment there. He enjoyed fishing, and woodworking.

He married Florence Louise Crocker, June 28, 1958. They had 2 children, Dennis (Juli) Lash of Fair Haven, and Laurie (Steven) Fillingham of Martville. Survived by his grandchildren, Joy Weldin, Eric Lash, Amber Lash, and Kassandra Fillingham, great grandchildren, Jayden Weldin, Jonavan Weldin, Peyton Laird, Carter Laird, Vincent Lash, and Alexander Lash, siblings, Marian Smith of Colorado, Lewis (Bob) Lash of Phelps, Richard Lash of Red Creek, Virginia Henkel of Illinois.

He is predeceased by his parents, foster parents, siblings, Kenneth Lash, Llewelyn Lash, Lois Warner, Wyonna Lash, David Lash, and grandson, Michael Fillingham.

A private graveside will take place at Huron Evergreen Cemetery. For those wishing to make contributions in Leslie's name they may do so to the Red Creek American Legion, or the Red Creek Fire Department. Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek, is in care of the arrangements.
