Leah Jean Garrett, 86, of North Rose, passed away peacefully Friday, July 05, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Hornell, daughter of the late William (Hank) Robinson, and the late Lillian Dillon Robinson. Prior to retirement, she was a teacher's aide at North Rose-Wolcott Schools. She was known as the "Card Lady" sending out cards to friends and family; holding babies at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers); giving gifts; crocheting and was a member of the Handcrafted Hugs Club at Rose Global Methodist Church.

She is predeceased by her husband, Clair W. Garrett Jr., brother Michael Robinson, and son-in laws James Pangburn and Clifford Wilson.

Survived by her daughters: Theresa (Ed) Dziekonski and Darlene (Alan Taft) Wilson; grandchildren: Becca (John Kuter) Miller, Cory (Brooke Bresnahan) Pangburn, Wesley Burroughs, Ed (Karen) Wilson, Liz (Jason Ferriter) Wilson, Jennifer (Kristine Gardner) Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Kristin (Dan) Jones, and Brittanie, Adreonna, and Anna Taft; as well as nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life service will be at the Rose Global Methodist Church, Friday, July 12, at 11 AM with a lunch to follow. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Leah's name to the Rose Global Methodist Church, 10695 School St., Rose, NY 14542. Arrangements are in care of the Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, North Rose.
