Lyons
Laurie Goulette-Cook, 69, of Lyons passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025. She was born in Lyons, daughter of the late Paul Goulette and Jennie Miraglia Goulette. She was a person who valued her family first and foremost. She loved woodwork and carpentry, the outdoors and spent time stargazing and watching meteor showers. She was someone who was always a text away and you could count on her for anything that you needed, even if it was a laugh at 2am. She loved looking at old buildings and houses. She loved painting with her grandchildren and playing cards. She loved scenic routes and camping trips with her husband the most.
She is survived by her husband, Rick Cook of Lyons, mother, Jennie Miraglia Goulette, sons, David (Denise) Durgan of Port Byron, and Josh (Aireal) Cook of Lyons, brother, Scott (Barb) Goulette of Sodus, sister, Tammy Goulette of Wolcott, grandchildren, Gabrielle (Jonathan) Durgan, Destiny Durgan, Tanner Miller, David Durgan Jr, Archer Cook, Asher Cook, Ender Cook, Emily (Michael) Pellicano, Destiny (Ty) Tellier, Ryan (Ember) Tellier, great grandchildren, Leighlani Burnett, Blaze, Harleigh & Lillian Webber, Braxtyn Tellier as well as niece Kara (Tom) Goulette, Kristen (Paul) Snyder and nephews Dylan Snyder, Chad Goulette. Great nieces Jemma Demaio, Zoren Marks and great nephew Luca Demaio. As well as several others who loved her very much. Laurie will always be severely missed and never forgotten.
