Joyce L. Scott, 68, of Cato, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was born in Auburn, daughter of
the late Winfield Hunter, and Marion Smith-Hunter. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crocheting, but
most of all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael Scott, son, Brian (Jennifer-Evans) Leyburn of
Weedsport, Bradly (Jennifer) Leyburn of Cato, siblings, Sherly (Mike) Ryan of Owasco, William (Chris) Hunter
of Cato, Donna (Carl) Acome of Conquest, Nancy Hunter of Cato, six grandsons, two great
granddaughters, and three great grandsons, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make contributions in Joyces name they may do so to CIMVAC or
the Ira Fire Department.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 03, 4:00-7:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, a
memorial service will take place at 7:00 with a celebration of life to follow at the LaBuff Cole American
Legion Post #911. A private family burial will take place at the Cato Union Cemetery.
