John E. Woods, Sr., 90, of Wolcott, passed away Wednesday, June 23, at Newark-Wayne Community
Hospital. He was born in Rochester, son of the late Ovid Woods, and Nancy Williams Woods. He was the NYS Archery champion several times, and Maid Of The Mist Champion.
He is predeceased by his wife, Joanne Woods, daughters, Judith Woods, and Janice Woods.
Survived by his daughter, Joan Woods of Wolcott, son, John Woods Jr. of Colorado, granddaughter, Tara
Woods, three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling will be Monday, June 28, from 1:00-1:30 at the Faith United Methodist Church of Wolcott, 12223
Oswego St, Wolcott, NY, a funeral service will take place at 1:30, entombment to follow at White Haven
Cemetery, Pittsford. Arrangements are in care of the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek. For those
