Joan M Rumsey's Obituary
Joan M. Rumsey, 72 of Red Creek passed away Thursday at Upstate Medical University.
She was born in Malone, NY and was the daughter of the late Merchant and Alice Russell DeLaurie.
Joan was predeceased by her husband Larry W. Rumsey.
She was beloved by her many friends and neighbors.
Joan is survived by two daughters, Karen (Thomas) Roberts of Telford, TN, Shelly (Richard Houghtaling, Jr.) Rumsey, one son Keith Rumsey of Clyde, two brothers, Norman (Janis) DeLaurie, Donald ( Jeanine) DeLaurie, three sisters Kathleen Barry, Doris (Louis) Capparelli, Sharon (Terry) Weekes and four grandchildren, Josh Rumsey, Caleb Roberts, Eli Roberts, Abigail Roberts.
Joan was predeceased by one sister Beverly Ingersoll
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Fire Department, 14447 Fair Haven Road, Sterling, NY 13156.
Arrangements are by Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek.
