Jeffrey C. Baker 80, of Fair Haven, passed away Friday, June 21, peacefully at his home.

He was born in Auburn NY. He was the son of the late Jane Eldredge Baker Paquette. Jeff had many interests & loves. The most important one was being a teacher. The schools he taught at were Manlius Military School, Paul Smith's College & retiring from Hannibal School District. He also served on the Red Creek School board.

Jeff was a lifeguard at Fair Haven State Park & taught swimming & sailing to many locals. He owned & operated 2 local businesses, the Fair Haven Liquor store & for 28 years the Boat House Marina.

He is predeceased by his son Jeffrey W. Baker

Jeff is survived by his wife of 18 years Vicki Drexler Baker, daughter Caroline Baker, daughter in law Darlene Baker and 3 grandchildren, Steven Baker, Jessica Baker, and Madyn Gibbons.

Calling hours will be from 11:00-1:00 on Sunday, July 14, at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home in Red Creek.
