James M. Pople, 48, of Cato, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long illness. James was born in Auburn, to Mark Pople, and Roxanne Hoag Pople, on April 8, 1976.

James worked at many local dairy farms and farmed himself throughout his life. He worked at Plainville Turkey Farm for several years.

He enjoyed anything farm related, including animals, tractors, trucks, and auctions. Hunting and fishing were lifelong hobbies.

James is survived by his parents, Mark and Roxanne Pople, his son, Truman (Malena) Pople, and his expected grandchild in April. He is also survived by his brother Jeffrey (Lori) Pople, and their daughter, Aeriana, his sister, Jennifer (Brad) Leyburn, and their sons, Anthony (Hope), Noah, and Kyle. James was especially close to his aunts and uncles, Darlene (Ike) Derocha, Sylvia Pople, and Clay (Ruthie) Pople.

At James's request there will be no services.
