Jack L. Winks, 83, of Cato, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born November 25, 1938, son of the late Harold Winks and Florence Wood Winks. Prior to retirement he was employed at GE in Syracuse. He enjoyed traveling and camping with his family.  He also enjoyed sharing stories of his youth.  But most of all he just enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was always talking about the multitude of stories he would be able to share with his beloved wife when they met again.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty and his brothers, Thomas Winks, Dewey Winks, and Jerry Winks.

Survived by his daughters, Dawn (Richard) Auchampau, Penny (Michael) VanHorn-Santoro, Jacqueline (Kenneth) Basile, and Carol (John) Morath, son, Randy (Jane) Winks, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his dog, Dodger, who was always by his side.

Calling hours will be Friday, February 04, 4:00-6:00 at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato, a funeral service will follow at 6:00 at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Cato Union Cemetery.
