Hugh Emerson "H.E." House Jr., age 61, passed away at his Port Byron home on Tuesday, July 30, 2019. "H.E." was the son of Dr. Hugh Emerson and Alice (Collins) House and was a 1976 graduate of Cato-Meridian High School. He attended Cayuga Community College and served in the Army Military Police. "H.E." worked for many years as a Civil Engineer with a specialty of bridge inspection for numerous highway projects throughout New York.
He his predeceased by his parents and his brother David. He is survived by his daughters, Emery and Kiley House; the mother of his children, Peg Nolan; sisters Cheryl (Charles) House, Jana (Brandon) House, Lesley (Craig) Gould and brother Stefan (Amy) House; nephews Brennan Furber, David House, Ryan Gould, and Dylan Hunt; nieces Megan House, Katie House, Ellie House, and Taylor Hartford.
"H.E." was a loving son and father and an avid Syracuse fan, who enjoyed golf and spending time with his family and his beloved neighbors, Randall and Diane Jetty.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, from 3-6 at Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Cato. A celebration of life will follow at H.E.'s "Garage" King Street, Port Byron. www.catoredcreek.com
