Glendolyn Parsons, age 95, passed away on November 20 th , 2023. She was predeceased by her husband,
William, and son Roger.
Glennie is survived by her daughters Kathleen (Tom) Goetzmann, Suzanne Parsons, and daughter-in-law,
Deborah Parsons; grandchildren Thomas Goetzmann, Theresa Parsons Kincade, Rosalynn Clifton, Corrie
Tompkins, Lauren Sawyer and Alison Sawyer; 8 great-grandchildren; 2-great-great grandchildren and too
many nieces and nephews to count.
Glennie was born in Lancaster, California on June 30th, 1928, and resided in her "beloved" Fair Haven,
New York for over 70 years. She was a member of the Fair Haven Legion Auxiliary, Fair Haven Fire
Department Auxiliary, Fair Haven Community Church and the Sterling Seniors. In 2004, she was honored
to receive the Cayuga County and Office of the Aging Senior Citizen of the Year Award.
Glennie loved to cook, bake and garden. She made a mean apple pie and unforgettable mac and
cheese. Please join us for a Celebration of Life luncheon at the Fair Haven Fire Department at 12pm on
Saturday, November 25, 2023.
