Evelyn R. Parsons, 101, of Cato, passed away peacefully, December 04, 2021, at her home. She was born

in Jordan, daughter of the late Oliver Fikes, and Mearyl Hewitt Fikes. Prior to retirement, she worked at

Nestles in Fulton. She enjoyed her flower gardens, baking, and was a communicant of Meridian Church.

She is predeceased by her husband, Clifford Parsons (2005), and sisters, Pearl Hisrod, and Helen Chapman.

Survived by her children, Ellen Hoyles of Oswego, and Nelson (Betty) Parsons of Hannibal, sister, Hellen

of Syracuse, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as several

nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family graveside to take place in the spring at Ira Union Cemetery. Arrangements

are in care of the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Cato.
