Eva Downey, 71,of Cato, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at her home. Eva was born in Gouverneur, NY, the daughter of the late Phillip Arnold and Lila Bowman. She worked as a Home Health Aide/Hospice care taker before her retirement. She enjoyed sewing and playing piano.
She is survived by her five children; Donetta (Pedro) Hernandez of Maryland, Gary (Esther) Corsette of Alabama, Laura (Richard) Corichi of Savannah, Karen (Bob) Giocondo of Wolcott, and, Dale (Shannon) Burnett of North Rose, as well as one brother and three sisters, Kenneth (Laura) Arnold of Victory, Doris Auringer of Oswego, Velma Arnold of Onieda, and, Phyllis (Don) Witherall of Gouverneur.
She had several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will take place Saturday April 22, 2017,  1-3pm   with a service to follow at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home , Cato, burial will take place following the funeral service at the Victory Union Cemetery. www.catoredcreek.com
