Ester Roberts of Red Creek, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Wayne County Nursing Home while surrounded by her family.

She was born in Westford, NY and was the daughter of the late John D. Gano, and Lottie Young Gano. Ester enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and loved to dance with her husband Jack. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking for her family, and she was a collector of frogs in many shapes and forms.

Ester is predeceased by her daughter Joan Ann Roberts (1966), as well as two brothers, Seth Gano, Ralph Gano, and one sister, Eva Gill.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Roberts Sr. of Red Creek, a son, Jack (Debra) Roberts Jr. of Wolcott, and a granddaughter, Lindsey Roberts of Wolcott.

There are no calling hours. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
