Ella E. (Switzer) Timerson, 82, of Victory, NY, entered into eternal life on July 24, 2016, surrounded by loved ones at her home. She was born October 22, 1933 in Ira, NY, daughter of the late Emmet Switzer and Edith (Morrell) Switzer.
She was predeceased by her brother Paul Switzer and her sister Beatrice Harris.
She is survived by her husband Herman E. Timerson, and her five children, Maxine (Robert) D'Alesandro, Irene (Lawrence) King, Christine (Timothy) Criss, Darlene (Hugh) Casler, Arlene (Raymond) VanNorstrand. Ella was blessed with twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brothers, Herbert and William, sisters, Barbara, Gertrude, Sharon, Janice, Sandra and several nieces and nephews.
She married Herman Timerson on October 10, 1953 and they celebrated 62 years of marriage. She was a dedicated wife; she worked on the family farm with her husband until they retired in 1995, when they began enjoying winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ella found abundant joy spending time with her family. Although she will be deeply missed, she will be in our hearts forever.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 11362 South St. Cato, NY.
