Elizabeth "Betty" Chantler, 86, of Cato passed away at the Commons at St. Anthony in Auburn on Wednesday, February 11, 2016.

Born in Union Springs on March 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charles Chantler and Emma Whipple Chantler. Becky enjoyed crocheting and even donated many of the blankets she made to military Veterans. She also donated to several charities over the years. She took pleasure in baking, especially zucchini and banana bread. She was Salutatorian of the Class of 1947 at Cato-Meridian High School.

Betty is survived by her dear friends, Robert and Helen Scott of Meridian. Her friends would like to thank the Commons at St. Anthony Nursing Home and Hospice Of The Finger Lakes for their kindness and professional care.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM with a service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Keysor-Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home in Cato. Burial will take place at Victory cemetery in the spring.
